Hi my name is Amanda Moore, my main planner is the Happy Planner…I love the versatility the disk binding allows. And of course you can never stop at just one planner so I have: a budgeting planner, mini happy planner for quick notes and meal planning, and a large HP for my journaling in 2017.
What Planner Meetup will we typically find you at?
Tell us what you plan for in your real life.
I have two daughters (13 and 11); with doctors appointments, sports, band, youth group, and friends. I have become their personal assistant/Uber driver. I’m also the President of our employees association at work so I have to keep track of our meetings, parties, and fundraisers.
When did you get started planning?
I have been a planner since elementary/middle school.
When did it dawn on you to decorate your planner?
I am a bit of a minimalist when it comes to decorating my planners. However, I fell in love with the HP Holiday Value Pack winter stickers and have been going a little crazy (for me) with the decorating.
Tell us a little about your planner journey.
I have had a planner since I was a preteen, but hadn’t heard about the Happy planner or the fact that there are whole Facebook groups dedicated to it until this year (2016). I attended my first Arizona Planner Girls Meetup at Pinners and have been excited to be a part of this group of lovely ladies ever since.
Are there any goals you’ve achieved or life projects you are proud of that you’ve tracked in your planner?
Every year my agency’s employee association holds a holiday party for the entire organization (200+ ppl). With all the scheduling and planning that goes into making that event happen I would be lost without my planner.
When do you fit planning into your busy schedule?
I typically plan on Sunday afternoons or Monday mornings.
Tell us about your favorite Planner accessories.
I know it would sound crazy to anyone other than my fellow planner girls but I am in love (like serious committed relationship) with my Pentel RSVP fine tip pen. Since I have larger handwriting it allows me to get my writing to a manageable size and still be legible.
When you are not in the planner world, what do you do with your time?
When I’m not working full time, studying for my second journeyman certificate, or playing assistant to my two girls; you can usually find me in my craft room. I currently do traditional and project life style scrapbooking, as well as card making.
